Mary (when she attends college as a psychology major) reading a book entitled, ‘I’m Okay, You’re A Homicidal Maniac.’
“Fascinating! And all of this from a game of some sort? To be honest, that is the hardest part to believe.”
Yes, all from a game. A game unlike any other.
A wooden pencil materialized in her hand, which she began to twirl between her fingers.
Would you like to see a trick?
“Sure! I would love to see an example of your abilities.”
With that, the Priestess started to sketch in the air between them, her pencil leaving multicolored streaks in its wake. Soon, the image of a round penguin shimmered just above the table top. With a final tap of the pencil, the ball shaped bird shivered to life.
It glanced about with its equally round eyes, before hopping from its invisible perch and onto the table’s surface. The penguin preened its downy rainbow feathers, before spotting Freia and waddling over to her.
1: … Hug a cloud… *he smiled wide* I would like that… *he closed his eyes and faced the rain* … I like this, too.
She stared at him for a moment, before tentatively lowering the damp drenched towel from above her head. Jeri did not like the rain after her more recent experiences on LORAD, but the water produced by the little rain cloud was pure.
Unsure of what to do, Jeri mimicked the small Century.
The angel knelt before the female with respect. “Greetings, madam. I am Ace, an Angel of Heaven and an Angel of Death.”
(THANKS FOR FOLLOWING ME!!!=D)
The Priestess bowed low in return.
It is an honor to meet you, Ace. I am Jeri, the Priestess of Doom
The angel stood. “Pleasure to meet you, Jeri.”
She straightened as well, a soft smile on her face. Jeri canted her head, looking the other over to take in the details.
So you’re… an angel, sir Ace?
She was certainly adept at finding angels of all sorts to meet.
1: *he sighs* I think it’s telling the earth to grow… *he shrugs* That’s just me, though…. *he looks to the ground around them* … I wish I could talk to clouds… And hug them, too…
Jeri tilted her head, listening to his words. When she was older, she used to believe the same of the rain clouds that irrigated LORAD and kept it flourishing with life.
You can! At least, on Skaia you can!
She started to drag her finger through the damp earth, drawing the spiral outline of a cloud. Inside it, she drew a triangle.
The clouds on Skaia can tell the future! One of them showed me this really hugest mountain before! Maybe they can tell you something too, one day =)
He nods, not knowing what this place was or what the mountain was reffering to.
1: That’s nice… Though, I don’t want to see the future. I just wanna talk to clouds…
And you can do that too!
Jeri drew another cloud, adding a happy face to it.
And I don’t know if they clouds on my planet can talk… but some fly really low so you can hug them! They’re really soft! -u-
She was referring to how things used to be, and how her planet was slowly becoming again.
